Get to Know Xhelo Shuaipaj, DDS, FDOCS, FICOI

Dr. Xhelo S. Shuaipaj has been a dentist serving the Downers Grove and Lemont communities for over 25 years.  He attended Loyola University of Chicago and graduated with Clinical Honors and a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Loyola University College of Dental Surgery.  Dr. Xhelo offers a wide range of dental services, including Invisalign (clear braces), dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry.  In fact, Dr. Xhelo is one of the very few select general dentists who is certified and licensed in sedation dentistry.  He has helped thousands of patients overcome their apprehensions about dentistry and receive the dental care they need.  He maintains state-of-the-art facilities with the latest in dental technology, ensuring that each of his patients receives the very best that modern dentistry has to offer.

Dr. Xhelo holds Fellowship status in The Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation (DOCS) as well as a Fellowship in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and has taught many dentists how to place and restore dental implants at live hands-on courses, study club venues, and conferences.  He is also an active member in good standing of The American Dental Association, The Illinois Dental Society, The Chicago Dental Society, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and The Academy of General Dentistry.

When Dr. Xhelo is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and giving back to his community as well as teaching dentistry to others so that they may take better care of their patients as well as improve their skills as practitioners.
